Singapore, our global city, our home. This lovely country, once facing lots of problems, has now became a beautiful and a successful country. Singapore had been through alot of troubles, and together with our ancestor, a whole new Singapore was built. Now, a advance in technology and a good education place is seen.
To me, Singapore is a special and unique country. It is a country that contains many races, and together, we practices racial harmony, that allows us to know more on each other's culture and tradition. Also, Singapore is a safe country. Singapore hs strict laws that would cause the people to be good law abiding citizens, on top of that, the usage of high technology has caused the effiency of catching criminals to increase. Singapore cares for us. We are being educated on many things that could harm us, such as the effect of drugs and and how to say no to it, therefore, we know the consequences of having such harmful things.
Singapore is also able to keep up with the technology around the world, thus, we are able to have a better life. Therefore, I think that we should repay Singapore by at least causing less trouble here.
Even though Singapore has many good points, there is still something which can still be improve. Singaporeans was said to be not courtesy, I've noticed, that this is actually quite true. Another thing is that many people seems to be complaining about the size of Singapore, people are saying that Singapore is a small country. But does they know that Singapore had already tried their best in extending the land? And to do this, it requires alot of money, all for the welfare of Singapore's citizen.
Therefore, in concluding, I wished that the citizens, being fortunate to live in Singapore, should try their best in making Singapore a better place, a more powerful nation and a wealthy country.

Zidane's headbutt

OWWW~!! Franch lost T^T

Well, I think that the defeat of France in the world cup has cause many people to lose their confidence in France, especially Zidane, and im sure that many people is disappointed with his action.

Many people sure blame France's defeat onto Zidane, however, they shouldn't come onto a conclusion of France's defeat. In my opinion, the reasons for people being so angry of Zidane's action could be that many people have place huge bets on France, after all, France is expected to win the match, therefore, as they are not happy that they lose their money, they will come up with a conclusion that Zidane cause France to lose. However, I don't think that its TOTALLY Zidane's fault, as he really did some wrong in being too hush. But, people don't know what really happened behind the scene, and it wouldn't be fair to push the blame onto him. Also, it was said that Materazzi(victim) was saying something to provoke him, therefore, in my opinion, it should be Materazzi's fault, as he COULD have plan this inorder to let them stand a better chance to win the game. Zidane is just a normal human being like us, he has pride too, therefore, I think its normal for him to get hush with his action when Materazzi provoke him.

Im sure all of us had this same common lesson being learnt from him, that we shouldn't be too hush, as the consequence may not be as simple as you think, and regret it like what Zidane is doing now.

p.s. : ZIDANE U DID A GREAT JOB WITH THE HEADBUTT, U R STILL MANY PPL'S HERO~~~~~!

Bullying, a serious action done from children nowadays, has became more and more violent and common. Even when schools rules are strict, children still bully each other, especially as they get older, to a point when they are most rebellious to everyone around them, BUT, have you ever think of this question" what makes this children bullying and so rebellious? Well, there is many reasons towards this question, and as you get to know this reasons, you will find that its actually the things or people around them that influence them.

Firstly, many childrens are too spoilt nowadays, many of these childrens often gets what they want, just one word from them and their parents will get them the item they want. This might not seems to link with bullying, but actually, this cause children to bully too. As these children always get what they want, when they saw other people with things that they don't have, they will start to use ways to get that item they want, such as trying to steal it from them. However, not some uses other ways too, that is, through bullying.

Secondly, they are being influence by their elders, especially elder brothers( boys are more defiant). As these elders bully or abuse their siblings, their siblings will tend to be threatened and as there is nothing that they can do to their elders(they will lose too if they fight against them), they will just store their hatred within themselves, and when they are in school, they will vent their anger off the weaker ones by bullying them back the same way as how their elders did to them.

Last but not least, children can also be influence by their peers. Students normally spilt themselves into 2 groups in school, which are the so call "cool" and the "extra" groups whereby the "extra" groups are always being bullied. As childrens get to choose who they are going to be friend with, they will definately be friend with the "cool" people instead of the "extra" one so that they won't be bullied and before they know, they got mixed into bad company and started to bully people around.

Many of us are not born to be bullies, but we normally became one because we didnt want to be left out or be the "extra" one, therefore, if we are not spoilt or influence by people around us, we can be better person and we will not be left out or become the "extra" one as there are more good people than bullies, and bullying cases will be solve!! =)
